SPK Magistral has completed the welding of golden joints at the Russian Landfall of Turk Stream Pipeline
On 20th of June SPK Magistral has welded the last golden joint of Turk Stream Pipeline 1 in the Russian sector. The pipeline shall provide gas transportation to Turkey and then to Europe. Completion of so-called golden joints at the Line 1 became the final step of welding at Russian Landfall of the Turk Stream Project. Previous golden welds were made by SPK Magistral on Line 4 on 3d of June.
SPK-Magistral employees are highly appraised for observance of Health and Safety rules
On August 14, 2018 an event took place at TurkStream site intended for HSE results appreciation. Tekfen and Petrofac project management expressed gratitude to project participants regarding compliance with high level standards in the field of HSE during “TurkStream” Pipeline project works performance. During event SPK-Magistral employees Artem Baranov and Ivan Mashkov were awarded with letters of appreciation and valuable gifts.
Autistic children to live a life full living
SPK-Magistral gave charitable assistance to public school No. 26 in Rassvet village of Gai-Kodzor municipal unit. Plenty of special equipment and accessories for children with limited health capabilities were delivered to this school where children with autistic disorders take corrective training courses with their parents.
Main stage of “TurkStream” onshore pipelines construction in Russian section is completed
Main stage of “TurkStream” pipelines construction in Russian section had been completed on February 20, 2018. Currently technical reinstatement works are in progress.
Share your warm with veterans
May 8 and 9, 2018. SPK-Magistral representatives being a member of joined “TurkStream” project team, participated in charitable program, devoted to Victory Day. The program included greetings of WWII veterans and laying of wreaths to monuments of intrepid fallen heroes. Gifts and food baskets were presented to the veterans on behalf of SPK-Magistral.
A contract between Tekfen and SPK-Magistral is signed
In April 2018 companies TEKFEN and SPK Magistral signed a contract for construction of “TurkStream” Pipeline Landfall Section in the Republic of Turkey. “TurkStream” Offshore Pipeline is intended for natural gas supply to Europe, with transit and supplies to Turkish market. “TurkStream” Pipeline extends from compressor station “Russkaya” in Anapa (Russia) to Receiving Terminal near Kiyiköy, Thrace region, Turkey. Within international project team, represented by Petrofac and Tekfen companies, SPK-Magistral provides supervision of welding and field joint coating, and performs welding at landlfall section of 32'’ pipeline. Pipe wall thickness is 39 mm. All works are held in compliance with DNV-OS-F101 standard “Submarine Pipeline Systems”.
A cutting edge process of heat shrinkable sleeves application is implemented in cooperation with CANUSA
July, 2017. SPK-Magistral qualified and implemented field joints coating procedure with heat shrinkable sleeves CANUSA using IntelliCOAT® mechanized system. IntelliCOAT® - the world’s first completely mechanized system for controlled application of heat shrinkable sleeves for corrosion protection of oil and gas pipelines. Qualification included personnel qualification, field tests of applied coating, and laboratory testing together with Gazprom VNIIGAZ, LLC.
A contract for construction of “TurkStream” Pipeline Landfall Section (Russia) is signed
June 23, 2017. A contract for construction of two lines of “TurkStream” pipeline in Russian section connecting offshore section with landfall facilities is signed with STRABAG (Austria). Works shall be done in compliance with international standard DNV-OS-F101 “Submarine Pipeline Systems”.
SPK-Magistral in cooperation with СRC-Evans (The Netherlands) completed development and qualification of mechanized welding process
June, 2017. Development and qualification of gas metal arc welding (GMAW) process technology for root, fill and cap passes of girth welds completed with certification in NAKS. Certificate No. АЦСТ-12-04413 has been issued (Mechanized double welding with wire of solid cross section in shielding gases with СRC-Evans AW equipment, including IWM and welding heads P-700). Works were performed within TurkStream Project for welding of pipe ø812х39 mm, steel grade DNV SAWL 450.
